I Went Shopping!



I'm not sure if I said this before, but I try to keep our weekly budget to $60.  That has to include all personal hygiene items, groceries, diapers and formula - for a family of 4! well, my 2 little ones don't eat too much, but hey, they count! I had to go to Walmart to pick up contacts so I figured I would shop a little while I was out.  I hit 2 Walmart's - the furthest Walmart from me is the only one with the eye center - and I had to pass another Walmart to get there! I wanted 7 bottles of formula and didn't want to empty the place out in case any of my readers were going to use the awesome $3 coupon!  (which is still available here and Walmart still has it on price cut -woot!) so I tried to split my purchases up a little to leave a few on the shelves.  I also hit Target and Rite Aid.  Here is the break down:

So... I spent a total of $29.09 with $5 +up and $1 SCR.  I have $30.91 left to spend for the week.  I'll spend that on groceries from Wegmans and Tops and I' ll be sure to post those trips too! I'll be getting a lot of fresh fruits, veggies and meats to show that it is possible to eat healthy while using coupons!
